A Few Personal Words About Capriccio:

I wrote Capriccio for flute and violin back in 2002, in between working on some larger musical projects at the time. I’ve always found this combination of instruments unique — it allows for a kind of interwoven playfulness.
Both instruments act as soloists in their own right, constantly shifting roles: counterpointing one another, stepping into the spotlight, then pulling back to accompany.

I remember having fun writing this one!
